I joined Milestone after a long career with the Police Force and having worked in various specialist departments and finishing my service as a Police Trainer and Assessor, I decided a new challenge was in order.
I have been with Milestone since the beginning and welcomed the opportunity to be part of a progressive and developing company, where I could utilise my training and leadership skills to assist in the development of a team that delivers something quite unique within the industry. We are an employer of choice within Chesterfield, with a reputation from both staff and clients that here at Milestone; we do things right.
In the office
I head up recruitment and the training of the existing team here at Milestone. Maintaining an optimum client experience is at the forethought of the work I have done in designing a scheme to support and develop new and existing members of the team. I also design processes and practices that ensure clients not only receive a great service, but that the advice they receive is well thought, compliant and consistent.
Why I love my job
What I love about Milestone is the feeling that everybody matters. The clients and their best interests are at the heart of everything we believe in. Milestone also works hard to maintain strong relationships with the local business community so that we can give a more connected service to our clients and clients of our partners.
What I do outside work
Aside from work, I am kept busy with two young children who have hectic sporting and social schedules! As a family, we love to get outdoors and are always on the lookout to visit new and interesting parts of the world.
