A financial advisor with over 5 years experience, I originally qualified and practised as a lawyer for 15 years before a change of career.

The decision to retrain as a financial advisor was not made lightly. It involved going back to study and earning the necessary qualifications, which required dedication and hard work. But the transition has been incredibly rewarding. I now help clients plan for their financial futures, achieve their goals, and secure their financial well-being.

The change in my career has allowed me to find the balance and satisfaction that I was missing in my previous profession. As a financial advisor, I’m still helping people navigate complex issues, but now I do so with a focus on collaboration, empowerment, and long-term financial success. It’s a career shift that has brought me a renewed sense of purpose and happiness.

In the office

My main role is looking after the needs of clients, discussing their financial objectives with them, tailoring my advice and recommending financial products and solutions to meet their goals. I am also heavily involved in financial research and enjoy producing a selection of recommendations as well as keeping abreast of economic trends and issues to ensure our clients are best protected against economic volatility.

I enjoy building long lasting client relationships and seeing my hard work lead to real change and improvement in people’s lives. There is a close knit, family atmosphere at Milestone. We are all really passionate, positive and enthusiastic about our approach to work and the business, putting client’s interests at the top of our priorities.

• Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning

What I do outside work

I enjoy keeping fit and busy with a number of hobbies – mainly hitting the gym, motorcycling, golf and fishing. I love spending time with my family. I also get to live out my childhood dream by singing in a couple of rock covers bands.
